The Square Dance 2026

Back by popular demand, Rye Nature Center’s beloved Square Dance of the late 1980s and early 1990s is returning to the 47 acres!

Grab your partner, do-si-do, and join us for a festive night of family fun, music, and classic square dancing led by a professional caller. We’ll be kicking up our heels right in the parking lot with good food and great company. The Square Dance was a favorite event at Rye Nature Center during the late 1980s and 1990s. Last year, it made its return to the 47 acres with an new added tradition, a pie baking contest! Bake two pies, one for submission to the contest and one to share with the guests!

All ages welcome! This event is full of old-fashioned charm, and sure to be a night to remember. Admission includes dinner and refreshments (light BBQ fare). Priced per person: $50 per adult, $30 per child.
